lots of books!  Fun night!

Sammy checked out Auntie's heart.

quiet; I can't hear it booping!"

Day 78, Saturday, March 19, 2011

Today was our first ever quilting class in 4H!

Miss Connie is teaching the girls (no boy takers!)

to make a twin sized quilt.  They will be using

a nine patch design, and tying it.  We plan to

have them done in time for the Fair!

Day 77, Friday, March 18, 2011

Sammy's 5th birthday is in 3 1/2 weeks.

He wanted to make a birthday list,

so we went to Meijers, and took

pictures of all the things on

his wish list.

Day 76, Thursday, March 17, 2011

Meika had a check up at Dr. Cassidy's today.
He is pleased with her progress, even though
she fell two days ago--no harm to the rods/screws.

Cheryl was in Traverse City
as Jody had shoulder surgery today.
We all dressed for St.Patrick's Day!
Kaitie is definitely "green!"

Spencer's 3rd grade musical was
also today!
He was an accountant, and my
shy boy had a speaking part--
did very well!

Today Merica wanted to do a poster for

her language class!  We had about an hour

to complete it!!  She was pretty proud of it.

Day 66, Monday, March 7, 2011

Sammy is home with a cold and bad cough--

temp of 100.  He wanted to go see the airplanes

at the airport viewing area so much. 
Of course,we went, and
saw many planes taking off and

landing!  We also saw a train on our way home,

and went past the fire station! 
Sam was quite pleased with our morning!

This is the first time any of us has

seen a Frontier plane at our airport--like

the penquin on the back tail!

Day 64, Saturday, March 5, 2011

Today we took 5 of the kids

to see Rango.  Overall it was

enjoyable, but there were 6

instances where language was

an issue.  Really didn't like that,

so cannot recommend the movie.

We used the occasion to talk

with the kids about bad language.

danced at a special needs banquet

There was a beach theme;

they had to make lighthouses

out of marshmellows--

I volunteered in Mahree's class;

A guest speaker showed us

how to make paper cranes.

The Bible Experience on cds.
This year we are watching a DVD

and listening and following along.
