My beautiful grandaughter, Katelyn Marie, turned 9 today--we had a fun time visiting with DJ, Meredith, Tyler and Katie! Katelyn wanted an aquarium for her birthday, so we got all the fixings, except the fish--that was her parents' gift to her!

We had a fun day in Chicago---visited the American Girl doll store, and the Lego store! The girls had their American Girl dolls cleaned up and had their hair done, and their ears pierced!

We went on a ride thru the Dells on a Duck---a WWII amphibious vehicle---Spencer got to ride shotgun! What a fun experience!
Today is also the 46th anniversary of my daughter's birth. Margie was born in 1965, and went Home to be with Jesus on 1/6/78. She was a blessing, and we will never forget her. She can't come to us, but someday we will go to her!
We went out to eat at a very cool restaurant in Wisconsin Dells--the food was delivered on a train--it came out of the tunnel behind Bonnie...once it came thru with bubbles blowing, and scared Bonnie!

We had a quilting bee with the help of Miss Paula, Miss Rhonda, and Mrs. Connie---worked on several quilts; while some of the kids were doing quilts, others worked on making sidewalk chalk with Miss Cheryl's help!
